Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 3 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 3 | The best way to see tell if a cab has factory a/c is there will be a center vent above the stereo and an air vent on each lower outside corner of the dash. If you want the factory look you should find that cab or at least dash. They also make some aftermarket kits for these trucks that mount under the dash. These kits in my opinion dont look all that great.
On my last project (70 Chev 4x4 shortbed) My cab was rotton so I found an A/C cab rust free for $100 and had it all switched out in a day.
I need some WD-40 and a breaker bar!
