To get the speedo to read correctly, the drive gear in the trans will need to be changed to one that's correct for the rear end gear and tire size on the vehicle. Or you could also use a speedo adapter that has the correct gearing in it. United Speedometer can make one for you, they also can refurbish your gauge cluster to read to modern specs.
