iv heard you can get some kind of gas mix that will make the motor burn cleaner and lean the carb way down just dont drive it far like that mayby put heavy oil or stp in to to seal the rings better and have it a qt low on oil i did this once and got a vw to pass that wouldnt before i made it so lean it would hardly run but the pipes were clean. put booster in the tank also
