I would venture that if you changed the gas and installed a hot battery it would start. Those are great photos of the engine compartment and you'll notice that the spark plug wires are the "original" type with the 90 degree plugs and no insulators. We would all appreciate it if you could post more pictures of both sides of the engine, the interior, and the rear end views.

Thanks for the welcome! It would be incredible if it started. Hopefully I'll have some time next weekend to get back in there and play with it.
