Thanks for the kind words. I may not be so kind after tearing into the beast, but it is going to be fun. I plan on documenting the build up with pis, so I will post em' up when I get a chance. I'm thinking maybe a new battery and some new hoses and I should be able to fire her up.

I plan to run a Currie 56" hot rod rear end with 3.70's and a 383 Stroker with a 700R4 behind it. I'm going to use the Progeressive tubular tranny mount and frame brace for the center of the frame, and crossmembers up front and in the rear. I also plan to use the progressive parallel 4 link set up with panhard bar and their motor mounts. Anyone have experiance using their products? Looks like they make some good stuff and it will take a bunch of the fab work our of the build. The body will be removed and placed on pallet's with coasters like I saw on this site. Great tip for moving the stuff around the shop. I will get the metal work and prime it up while I'm getting the chassis worked on, so hopefully I can mate them back up with a new driveline and fresh primed black body to run for a while till I get all the kinks worked out, then I will break down the body one more time for a killer pain job. That's my plans so far. I bit off a pretty good chunk here. Anyone know someone who needs anything off my original drivetrain? I'm in Houston and I will be trashing the old motor and trans and rear end.
