jarge Cruising in the Passing Lane J Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 221 Winnipeg Manitoba	Hi Joe M! I had an identical problem with my 46. It has a 235 engine and a 6 volt system. I cured the problem you have with a bigger ground cable. The positive was the correct size but the ground was more in keeping with a 12 volt. The bigger ground cable, connected to the starter mount bolt, fixed the problem. Hope it does for you. George
