Please don't beat up on me if I missed this--I did execute a number of searches to try to find this info...

What, if any are the differences between AD and TF 6 lug wheels?

I inherited from the PO three 14" rallye spoke wheels and one "original" 15" wheel with hubcap clips on my truck and would like an "orginal" set of 4.

A fellow stovebolter lives nearby and has the original set 16" wheels from his 1951. They look very close to my one original wheel (of course it is 15" and they are 16"). But all these wheels currently have tires mounted so I can't measure rim width. Other than 15 vs 16 diameter, is there any difference? Are the orginals TF wheels 4.5" or 5" rim widths? I'd like to mount 215/85R-16 radial tires on what I end up with.

One thing is for sure, the 16" wheels on my 2wd Silverado won't fit--they hit the tie-rod big time.

Thanks!

Any input is appreciated.
