It is a ways off yet, but when I get ready to do my bed wood, I am thinking of using 1 inch channel iron for the bed strips and seeing if I can find a place that will powedercoat them for me. I have a couple questions... Is powdercoating a pretty durable finish for an application such as this? And how hard is it going to be to find someone who can powdercoat a stick of channel iron that is about 9 foot 3 inches long? (it's a 1 ton flatbed)
