Hi Gang!
I am getting ready to mount my new saddle tank on my c-30 flatbed. It is going right behind the cab on the passenger side. The filler inlet on the tank is about 1-1/4 inches in diameter and is essentially an 'L' that comes up a couple inches and then makes a 90 degree turn and points outboard from the end of the tank that will be closest to the frame rail. I want to make a filler that will come up through the bed right in the corner behind the passenger door and then make another 90 turn to protrude through the headache rack (which doesn't exist yet.) Anyhow, I would like this elbow in the corner to be solid metal and mounted to the frame of the bed and be able to put a standard locking gas cap on it. Are there any designs similar to this around here I could look at? I don't know anything about what is needed in terms of grounding or insulating for preventing static discharge. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
David cool
