| | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | yes, it can be made to work without one. You'll need to operate it with a manual switch. This will allow for it to be used as a gear splitter, so you'll actually have 6 forward gears. You will have to remember to disengage the solenoid before you take off in first and also before putting it into reverse.
