Do you adjust the pedal height with the fork ball first and then adjust the pedal free travel on the linkage? I can't find anything about the clutch ball adjustment in my shop manual.
Also, is the 3/4 - 1 inch free travel the amount you can press down with your finger or is it the up and down movement you can get?
Finally, my wrenches are too fat to adjust the fork ball. Do you adjust it with the clutch pedal depressed?

1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet 34 Years. Now with a '61 261, 848 head, Rochester Monojet carb, SM420 4-speed, 4.10 rear, dual reservoir MC, Bendix up front, 235/85R16 tires, 12-volt w/alternator, electric wipers and a modern radio in the glove box.
