I was talking to a couple of guys yesterday about leaded gas vs. unleaded gas. They stated that I should be adding a lead additive to unleaded gas. They said that the leaded gas acted as a lubricant to protect the valves. They said if I continue to run unleaded gas it would burn up the valves on my 42 with the original 216 motor. any thoughts?
