Hey guys, sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'm frustrated.
Who makes good headers for a stock V8 Taskforce truck? I'm looking for personal experience, if possible.
The Hedman headers I bought for my truck were garbage. The driver's side looked like the flange was welded crooked/warped, I had to beat it silly just to make it fit on/in the truck, and #7 exhaust port won't seal for more than 5 minutes. Hindsight is 20/20, if I had cut them off the flanges I could have rewelded them, but I assumed it just needed a little clearancing around the steering box.
So, who's got the scoop on a good set of headers? No block huggers, those are as bad as stock manifolds in terms of flow. I want the extra performance and increased economy of full length tube headers.
