I was fortunate ... my channels were all very nice! I installed new windlace and then, a week or two later, removed it because my truck is going to paint. I also masked the channels so they don't get painted!
But seeing those screw holes in the same places, and over both doors, sure makes me curious!
PS - I don't see anything at all about windlace in the FAM.
