It is just like any other engine swap. Do a lot of measuring before cutting, welding or any modifications to make sure. Check the engine length from the rear of the block to the end of the water pump shaft, then check the dimension from the radiator back to the firewall. If it will fit without cutting anything go ahead with measuring for mounts, etc. Be sure to make your side mounts very sturdy the 292 is a strong torque motor and will twist things it not properly mounted. You may want to box the frame to minimize twisting too. Be careful when welding boxing plates, skip weld so there will be no heat induced twisting. Again measure at least twice before cutting or welding to minimize mistakes. Good luck, go slow and have fun.
