I just got around to attempting to adjust mine on my 1960 apache stepside. I adjusted the rear bumpers on the hood which ride on a little platform on the cab. Now the passenger side sits down correctly, but the drivers side rides up about 1/8 inch. I can push it down by hand and it will almost stay, but seems to be spring loaded to pop back up to the original 1/8 inch too high. The adjustment of the hood hings to cab is at the lowest possible setting. It's hard to tell by looking, but would a new and stronger spring fix this problem? The hood barely stays up by itself since I lubed the hinges. meansam | | |
