PB Blaster is great at helping to break the nut lose. It seemed to work better that WD-40 on my 68 c-10. I went through about 4 cans of the stuff. Just spray and walk away...have a Coca-Cola...and come back ready to teardown!
And a 3 pound hammer helps on that tapping the end of the wrench. LOL
