How long are the fabric straps that attach the hood props to the hood? I have a pair of original GMC hood props and there is was a piece of fabric similar to flat hood lacing, about 3/4" wide and 1/8" thick, one end of the strap was bolted through a hole in the fabric strap and the metal hood prop and the other end of the fabric wrapped around the hood latch rod and the fabric itself was bolted together.
