For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 11 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 11 | I’m starting the restoration on my 1968 Chevrolet ½ Ton and there is some technical information that I still have not been able to secure - through all the sources on line or publications that I have purchased and was hoping someone could help me.
A. On my VIN Tag underneath the VIN number is a stamped DD – anyone know what it means?
B. I’ve still have the production number of my truck on the firewall (it cross references with the same number located on the Seat frame and the printed circuit of the gauge cluster – how was the number on the firewall applied, grease pencil, paint?
Would appreciate any feedback that you could provide.
Thanks Larry Hull Ottawa, Canada.
