I don't see why not, or at least the '69-'72 Blazer and '70-'72 Jimmy.
A lttle trivia about the blazer-the truck designers for GM had actually experimented with the idea of a short wheelbase 2 door suv when they were designing the Task Force trucks, but the GM managemnt shot it down because they said it wouldn't sell. It never got past the concept drawing stage.
