Thanks. I believe I have located a 292 pan but how do I tell for sure? Also, when my 292 engine arrived from the rebuilder, the two-sided main bearing bolt that you clamp the oil pickup to, is screwed in at the number three main. Is this a mistake? Because I thought I remember on 250's it was located at the number two main.
