Dude.. I run gas thru my engines that looked like Killians Red before. Dump some on the ground, drop a match.. if it ignites, it's good.
What you want to watch out for is loose crud in the tank itself clogging up lines.. but i've fired up vehicles that hadn't been run in as many as 15 years just by filling 'em up with some fresh gas, and squirting some fresh gas in the carb to get it going till the fuel pump could fill up the line.
I've been all over the world.. some places the gas is clear.. other places the gas is tinted that same kind of color. Never knew why, and I can't say as tho I ever cared enough to find out why.
Of course, I prefer clear gas.. that way it's easier to tell which can was for the weed whacker and which one was straight gas.
