Yes, they were original equipment, but usually they're rusted away or the nails that hold them in rusted/fell out. I didn't bother with putting a new one in, although the original was still in place and in relatively good shape. I've still got it somewhere around here. I did re-rout the exhaust to get it away from the wood.
