For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1 | I want to replace my windshield in my '72 c10. I was reading an earlier post that talked about fitting the gasket around the glass and then using rope and soapy water to ease the windshield into place (starting at the top). In the LMC truck catalog they say to fit the gasket into the truck first and then put the windshield in. This seems to go against much of what I have read. Can somebody please give me some tips about this? Thanks
ps do i need to get a "windshield stick" or can I use something else to help fit gasket into truck? | | |
