Welcome SilverGirl, Rod the heck out of that truck, that way you can blast right by those evil truckers...
I would recommend that you pick either the 83 or 89 and salvage ALL the brake components and possibly the rear end (not sure if it will fit)... then retrofit them onto your truck... and when you need replacement parts, you dont need to try and remember "what did that piece come off"?
