Fumblin46 Extreme Gabster F Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,682 Western Nebraska	I have no idea.. i've seen a whole lot of old '39 thru '46 trucks and never saw a plate mounted in the 'top hole' position. Maybe they're left over from a step during the original assembly process? an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.
