Some of '60-'66 trucks with the stepside bed had a spare tire mount on the drivers side rear fender. Some of the '60-'66 trucks with the fleetside bed had a spare tire mount inside the bed forward of the wheel tub on the drivers side. Lastly many of the '60-'66 trucks had a spare tire mount under the bed behind the rear axle. Your '60-'66 Chev/GMC Factory Assembly Manual shows all of these options. Good luck with your project.
