Hi again. Decided to take my 47 around the block... Gawd it's fun to drive.

I Will still probably replace the rear end to accomodate the newer wheels I got (seen in the pics at the bottom of the page here: http://www.fiberglassics.com/0/truck/1947/pics.htm )

Seen in the pics, the newer 16 in dual wheels but only the outside one is on currently. The inner one obviously won't fit over the brake drums so I just left it off for now.

Anyone have any idea what rear end would work well for this yet be as skinny as the one I have? If I use a modern dually rear end, the wheels will be wider than original and look funny to me. I have 47 inches between the old wheels and if a newer rear end is used, I'd have about 54, which might look funny to me. Anyone else done this and have any thoughts? I'd appreciate any input here.
