| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | the cross sills are not welded anyplace - the bolts in the skid strips hold the wood to the cross sills, special bolts thru the wood and the sills go to the frame - the bolts at the sides attach the sills to the bed via the angle strips
