The center steering rod will swap from the adjustable length to the non-adjustable, from 63-66 solid shaft into the later 67-72 column, like blu64 said just adjust the length if neccessary, no welding is needed tho. The rag joint will work if used on the same box, i.e. some later model power boxes have a smaller input shaft than others. Should be a darn near bolt in, the only real diff is where it mounts to the dash-either weld on 2 new nuts or use sheetmetal screws to mount. Brian
