I absolutely agree, and that's why I pay people to do things I don't want to spend my time on.

My main point here is that doing the frame myself is something I want to enjoy doing MYSELF.

I reroofed my own house once to save money. I hated every minute of that project. These days I much prefer paying people to do the stuff I don't want to, or the stuff that must be done, but which keeps me from playing.

I have my reasons and if someone else has other reasons for doing the same or doing different then I think they should go for it.
