Just a suggestion on rear sway bars for AD trucks. I found that late 80's(70's may also fit) Camaro rear sway bars, along with all the attaching hardware and even the control links were a direct bolt-in swap onto my 54 open diff. truck. The stock Camaro bar is 3/4" diameter and the IROC-Z bar is 1". The distance between the link holes is 39". I mounted the 1" bar on top of the axle and only needed to drill a 3/8" hole on each side of the frame to bolt up the links.

I've used the 93-94 2WD Explorer front bar on several straight axles but chose the Classic Parts front bar for my Chevy truck. It requires less modification and is engineered specifically for the straight axle Chevy truck. The front and rear bars ELIMINATE body roll and IMHO are the least expensive and easiest upgrade to improve drivability. Normal salvage cost for u-pull bars is $40.00 for front and rear.

I have some pics of the rear bar install in my album. Hope this helps.
