It sounds like you want to know what goes inbetween the 'rad support' and the 'crossmember' as robin showed.
The piece DS is talking about has nothing to do with bolting the rad support down.

I'm curious aswell since my rad support has no steel spacers that robin's pictures showed. I just put a rubber pad (bout 1/2 inch thick) in between.
