Is it a regular auto body shop?
or a designated 'hot rod shop'?
If it is at a hot rod shop I would have expected some work done on it.
At a regular autobody shop projects like this go real slow. Problem is, most other jobs pay more money. Hot rods are a pain to work on in these shops because they take tons of time and lots of space. Also, the owner rarely pays everyweek for what has been done. One way or another money has to be made, it's much easier to keep up with the payments/bills if you're generating money every week.
