I have been trying to get the truck running for 6 months now, but major wiring issues have kept her down... The points were fried, distributor was 180 out, plug wires hooked up to the wrong location on the cap, ignion wires cut under the dash, and lots of "jumpers" everywhere. I had a friend come down from Canada for New Years and we spent all weekend going through the truck...
Just this morning, I replaced the plugs and pumped the throttle and hit the remote starter and she chugged to life! A little 265 with the exhaust rusted out just past the exhaust manifold. Good morning neighbors!
