With this being my first stovebolt (of many, hopefully), I'm a little uncertain of the bed strength. I already know that I need to rebuild my bed practically from all new parts, but I'm still worried. Being a woodworker, I know that wood, even 3/4" has structural weak points. I plan on being able to carry my Harley in the back if need be. Will the weight of the motorcycle in the small areas of the wheels be too much for the slats? I'd really, REALLY hate to hit a hard unseen bump come out of it fine only to find my motorcycle up to it's hubs through the bed!!!
