Found this forum a while back while surfing for truck parts. Seems like a place with a lot of knowledgeable people, so I thought I'd join in.
I've got a few old chevy trucks, a 36, a 57, a 65, and a 72. The 36 and the 57 are streetrod projects on hold, waiting for me to find time and money. Seems like I never have both at the same time. The 65 is in the middle of a rebuild/update that's not happening fast enough. The 72 is a running truck with a factory big block that I haven't even started in about three months.
I do restorations and build street rods for other people in my own shop, (now you know why mine are not finished). Currently restoring a 54 chevy 1/2ton for a customer, which brings me to my question. What's the correct engine color for a 54?
