Wally- Thanks for the story. Brings back early memories of my brothers 48. I grew up in Montana near Pray (between Livingston and Yellowstone). My brother bought a 48 with a homemade flatbed on a ranch auction in the early 80's. He got road worthy again (brakes and a tune up). We must have put a thousand miles on that thing and never left the ranch. (living on a 3000 acre ranch, you can do that real easy). In 84 or 85 we sold it to a guy in Gardner as a daily driver. It was that dark green. Thanks for the chance to reminise!
