I'm not going to knock on the side of a rusted 51 and pretend it's better than one of these bodies without rust. I could save it, but I'd be using chinese parts to do it anyway. It's a wash there.

I have a 66 chevelle that was saved from the scrap yards with $18k in body work. Most of that steel came from china. There's nobody in the U.S. making replacements and some parts just rust on all vehicles after 50 years.

Everyone one of my cars will be a solid rust-free driver when I'm done with it. Some will be more original than others. I won't care one darn about that because I bought the car for the styling and simplicity, not because it strokes my ego.
