I tried the Mustang shifter, wouldn't work, the ball end, in the trans is shorter than the S-10 making the shift throw much longer. So, I cut off the top portion of the Mustang and welded it to the bottom end of the S-10 and bolted on my old Hurst lever. All this just to use the Hurst, but it came out nice.

It's easier to get forgiveness than permission!
