you will have to keep the heavest part of the frame towards the front of the bed. put eye hooks in the floor of the bed and pull it down with some good ratchet straps. i use four two on the front and two on the back. put a red flag or light on the tail.
i had a '94 lightning frame in the back of my 6' chevy with the tail gate down for a 100 mile ride.
