| | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 112 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 112 | use a torch to heat the bushing, when it starts smoking, knock it out with a punch. THEN, go get one of those emergency(red rack at the autoparts store)lower shock fixit mounts. They have two tapered rubber bushings and a big flat washer held on by a bolt. A lot of trouble, but if you already have shocks, it is a way to make it work.
OR....Check and see if they have a shock dimension chart from the manafacturers. It will give eye or mounting dims and stroke length. then you can order from that. Most counterjerks don't even know it exists if they actually have one at their store.
