Here's my new, slightly used 1954 3809 1 Ton Stake truck. I really don't know why I bought it other than it was cheap and I thought it was just plain cool. It won't go fast, but then neither do I!

Believe it or not, after I trailered it home started right up (on the old gas, big mistake but couldn't wait to hear it run!) and I drove it around my yard for about an hour. It was kind of exciting as the brakes were non-existent. Just going to have fun with it right now and will fix it up as I go along. I'm in the process of buying a 54 1 1/2 or 2 ton (not sure what it is) truck for the 261 to put in it. It was originally Junpier Green but my 8 year old son calls it "Big Orange".
