pablos49---Mine has a chrome thermo. housing--I put on a gasket along with the ring. I'll keep an eye on it.
stevie-t---I have a 13 lb cap -- tomorrow I'll put on a 16 lb.
Builder---Today I put on a plastic jug and no antifreeze flowed into it..tomorrow I'll half fill it and see what happens.
