A 2 groove pulley damper was used on late 50's cars with a 235 and AC and power steering or something like that.A damper from a 230-292 engine as well as the small block V-8 works on a 235/261 from what guys tell me.Not that these balancers may have the correct dampening for the older 6's and the damper snout may need a reduction in length.And there's limited room like the man says.
