I run my alternator on the passenger side of my 261. I use a little NASCAR alternator and it fits very nicely. To do it, I had to go to a double harmonic balancer pulley and a double water pump pulley.
I have seen a power steering unit mounted below the A/C compressor, but the mount would most likely have to be made. It ends up inside the frame rail. The A/C was in the generator position and the alternator above it. Some one might offer a mount for the power steering in that position, but I'm not sure. The guy that has the one I know of had it made. He uses a double balancer pulley to run the power steering. The rest of the set up is done the way you usually see it done. On your truck, there is probably enough room to do that.
