not planning to do anything major... just hop up the engine with the dual carbs and headers...
I will be finding an authentic paint scheme as well..I'd like to go two tone...the interior will stay as original as possible, I do have a 6 to 12 volt converter for my stereo, and that will go in the glove box, I also picked up two speakers I am fabricating a bracket for, they will go behind the speaker grille..I want to do the wood bed, I just have to figure out if I have an early or late 51, that way I can put the correct 8 or 9 slat in it..I also want the 3.55 rear eventually... I have a 4 on the floor in it...
I will NOT cut the truck or anything like that...
the bumper was a farm addition, the guy I bought this truck from was a tree farmer in the mountains here...I am more interested in authentic 1950s performance parts, I guess Rodding is the inappropriate term... she will be and is my daily driver...
