I agree with you, 2,000 is high.
In my oppinion, if a perfect job was done making this missmatched contraption, so it appeared factory, then it would only be worth about 1,000.

It may be worth more as parts sold sepratly, but together and not original, and not perfect looking it may not be worth much.
