#21327 04/17/2002 9:56 PM | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | It is a bypass oil filter so it won't hurt if oil doesn't flow out of it for a while but you should fill it with oil before start up so that oil doesn't flow into it too fast or the bearings might be starved until it fills up enough so that oil is flowing through the restrictor instead of air.
