The crank is a pretty conservative design. As long as you have a good harmonic balancer and can get the bearings and oil seals to fit it will probably be fine, as long as you are not planning to rev it to the limits. The harmonics can be bad with a 4 main design and the thinnner the crank is the worse they get.
